SM Entertainment's boy group 'NCT' third unit 'NCT Dream' is on the rise after successfully wrapping up their concert at Guro Sky Dome in Seoul earlier this month and Osaka Kyocera Dome in Japan. NCT Dream, who has been the driving force behind the company's first quarter sales growth, is expected to lead another K-POP craze in Indonesia.

 

From the 11th to the 12th, NCT Dream held their '2024 NCT Dream World Tour - The Dream Show 3: Dream Escape in Japan' at Kyocera Dome Osaka, showcasing explosive energy with their overwhelming performances and diverse music. This was their first dome concert in Japan and their dynamic stage with mega dance crew caught the attention of the audience.

 

Their concert at Guro Sky Dome on the 2nd also captured the hearts of fans not only in Korea but also overseas. All three shows were sold out, with a total of 60,000 audience members, demonstrating their ticket power.

 

NCT Dream, who is sweeping the global market, is also contributing to SM's improved performance. In the first quarter of this year, SM achieved a 7.9% increase in sales from the previous year, reaching 220.1 billion won. The expansion of concert scale, increase in merchandise sales, and growth in advertising and drama sales have also led to growth in major subsidiaries.

 

As an entertainment company, SM also showed remarkable results in album sales, with a total of 2.76 million copies sold in the first quarter, surpassing last year's 2.15 million copies."

 

In my opinion, NCT Dream's success not only in Korea but also in Japan and other countries is a testament to their global popularity and influence. Their powerful performances and diverse music have captured the hearts of fans worldwide, making them one of the leading groups in the K-POP industry.
